Once you have completed the course you will receive detailed instructions on how to inform the necessary government agency and arrange for your exam. Congratulations! You are now a big step closer to becoming a trained security professional.
Syllabus – OnlineAlberta Security License Course
The Alberta basic security training syllabus (either online or in a classroom) is set by the Alberta Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General. It is a 40 Hour Mandatory Security Guard Course and prepares you to write (and successfully pass) the security guard provincial exam required by the Province of Alberta. Once you have successfully passed this exam, you can participate in the high-demand career of security and loss prevention.
The Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General does not provide the training directly but approves trainers who are authorized to deliver the program.
